As one of the most technologically advanced work surfaces on the market, Denix™ products offer the highest quality surfaces for laboratory and healthcare facilities.
Manufactured from a composite of balsa wood and infused synthetic resin, Denix products reduce resin requirements by over 70% of other comparable products. Instead, the rapidly renewable balsa wood is used and has the potential to help gain LEED credits for the design and construction of sustainable buildings.
Denix 12™ work surfaces have been specifically designed for use in laboratory and research environments. As a cost effective surface solution, Denix 12 not only withstands the harshest research environments, but is also aesthetically pleasing to compliment the intended finished look of a facility. All colors are offered at the same price point, and value engineering will not affect final color.
Denix Plus™ combines the proven and distinct advantages of Denix 12 with a breakthrough in antimicrobial technology. Denix Plus incorporates a biostatic antimicrobial polymer directly into the gel coat layer of the work surface. The antimicrobial polymer protects the product surface by inhibiting the growth of odor and stain causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi. This polymer is permanently embedded within, and distributed throughout the gel coat layer, and will not wash off or wear away. The result is antimicrobial product protection throughout the useful life of the work surface.

While the polymer incorporated into Denix Plus protects the product surface by inhibiting the growth of odor and stain causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi, it is not designed to protect the users or others against bacteria, viruses, germs, or other disease organisms. Always clean and wash work surfaces thoroughly before and after each use in accordance with local and/or OSHA protocols.
