Founded in 2001 as a division of Orion Fittings, Laboratory Enterprises is making its mark in the laboratory and safety markets. The firm was started as the North American distributor for three related, high-end Danish product lines: Broen, Armalab and Alsident.
Broen manufactures top of the line laboratory and commercial safety equipment as well as gas valves, fume hood fixtures and faucets. Using innovative designs and materials, Broen has established themselves as one of the top fixture suppliers in the world.
Armalab products include quick connect and high purity valves for applications where a gas purity of up to 99.9999% is required. Such a high degree of purity is required in particularly sensitive research and instrumentation applications.
Alsident is a manufacturer of point-of-use fume extraction systems. These systems provide maximum flexibility and safety in situations where fume extraction is necessary but a permanently installed fume hood is not available. Articulating arms allow users to direct fume extraction where it is necessary, while not impeding their work.
In 2005, Laboratory Enterprises began manufacturing the revolutionary laboratory benchtop material SPF Lite. SPF Lite is a unique encapsulated resin benchtop that offers many features and benefits over other laboratory benchtops currently on the market. Manufactured locally, SPF Lite is highly chemical resistant, lightweight, field repairable, resistant to temperature extremes, and can be installed with seamless joints.
